Lisa Kunde has ten years experience working as a psychologist with adults in both private and public hospital settings (oncology, palliative care, chronic pain, cardio-pulmonary, psychiatric and alcohol and other drugs units).

Lisa Kunde uses a holistic trauma informed, strengths based approach to therapy. She places importance on therapy being a safe and trusted place for people to share their experiences in order for them to be able to reflect, find direction and meaning, and to empower them with the skills to cope with what life presents us with.

Lisa is skilled in the application of a range of evidence-based psychological therapies applicable to young people and adults, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Integrated Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (Mi-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She has a special interest in adolescent mental health, gender and sexuality, substance use and addiction, grief and loss, and identity and self-worth.

Lisa has a background in the local music scene, having played in an independent music for a number of years and continues to have a passion for the arts and entertainment industry in Brisbane and Melbourne. She has a passion for yoga and spending time in nature to balance out playing noise.

She is currently in the final semester for completing a Masters in Medical Science, Sexuality and Reproductive Health, with a focus on Psychosexual Therapy, at the University of Sydney.
