Rani has over 11 years of experience working at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne as both a research psychologist. She was also a consultant psychologist for the Neurofibromatosis and Learning Difficulties Clinics at RCH. Rani continues to be involved in research at the RCH as an Honorary Research Fellow of the Australian Centre for Child Neuropsychological Studies and the Murdoch Children's Research Institute. Rani has written numerous journal articles and book chapters on cognitive, behavioural and emotional outcomes following childhood brain pathology. She has co-edited a book on the development of the frontal lobes across the lifespan. Rani's work at the RCH has led to a particular interest in working with anxiety in children, adolescents and young adults.
