Profile Photo

Psychologist
B. Psych (Hons)

Sascha completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at The University of Sydney. She started her career working in early intervention in the not-for-profit sector and has now been working in private practice for three years providing psychological assessment and intervention to children, adolescents and adults. Sascha is experienced helping people with a variety of difficulties including anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, stress management, adjustment difficulties, low self-esteem, and behavioural problems.

Sascha has a special interest in using mindfulness-based therapeutic approaches to better equip people with skills to handle difficult or painful thoughts and feelings in such a way that they have less impact and influence, empowering people to lead more fulfilling lives.

Sascha believes in a holistic approach to mental health and wellbeing, focusing on the whole person not just their symptoms or diagnosis. Sascha incorporates evidence-based interventions most suited to clients' individual needs and personalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-integrated Cognitive Behaviour (MiCBT) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).

Outside of work, Sascha enjoys yoga, cooking for friends and camping.
